This course is for anyone who is 16 years or over (or 12 years or over if accompanied by a course fee paying adult).

We limiting the size of this course to a maximum of 6 students at a time with the added benefit of more 1:1 attention during the day.
We'll learn to use a wide variety of glass media including copper, mica, stringers, millefiore, frit, bubbles and dichroic glass (the beautiful jewel-like glass with reflective and refractive qualities). We will explore the use of decals on the surface of the glass and fusing at a variety of temperatures, including tack fusing.

We will teach you to cut glass safely and provide information on where to buy your own supplies of tools and glass for the future.
If you love working with colour you will enjoy making and designing your own pieces, it isn’t difficult and the combinations are limitless. Come and surprise yourself at your own creativity!

Towards the end of the day, we will plan and design jewellery findings on which to mount your pieces when fused. A supply of jewellery findings and the best adhesive for the job will be also provided.
