I love patterns of decay, when leaves fall and gradually become nature's fragile lace, delicate skeletons of their previous selves, but none the less very beautiful. It reminds me that there is beauty to be found in every season of life, we just have to look for it.
My holed lace glass bowls are individual and hand made. I recycle leftover glass offcuts from larger commissions adding colour to create these delicate decorative forms. They create intriguing and colourful shadows as the light hits them.
