    • My Inspiration

Oxidised silver with kiln enamel on copper-  hand-made drop earrings.

Inspired by lichens and mosses and the way they slowly grow across surfaces, decorating them with their intricate patterns. I have chosen contrasting enamel colours of rose-hip red and lichen green for this "one of a kind" pair, they are unique!

One thing I love about enamelling is the endless scope for colours and patterns, so I am always looking for new combinations. If you have favourite colours you'd like to see in a custom made pair, please be in contact and I'll make you some! (Please note: I need 3 weeks notice for custom orders).

    • Care of your earrings:

Enamel is glass fired onto to a metal surface, in this instance to copper. It is therefore fragile and these earrings should not be dropped on any hard surface or the enamel may chip or crack.

To clean the oxidised silver, please use a soft polishing cloth.

Do not put the whole earring into silver cleaning solution as this will remove the oxidisation on the silver stud and may adversely affect the surface of the enamel making it cloudy or causing it to lose its shine.

      Thank you.
