Handmade Enamelled Copper Bowls by Eleanor Watson

I enjoy working on larger copper forms and vessels because they give me greater scope to create expressive, kiln-fired vitreous enamel designs. My handmade enamelled bowls have received national awards through the Guild of Enamellers.

Each bowl develops its own character during the enamelling process. The colours and patterns can react unpredictably in very beautiful ways during firing, making many pieces unique and impossible to reproduce exactly. The photographs below show recent examples of my work.
