The semi precious stones I am using highlight the colours of lichens, mosses and other "fruiting bodies" living slow lives where they have always lived. The yearning for a calm existence!
The oxidised silver adds an industrial edge, reflected from the ironwork of the Victorian wrought iron bridges, and heavy industry on the water, living alongside nature, cheek by jowl.

From my own design, these are my hand-made oxidised sterling silver stud earrings with misty opalescent labradorite droplets.
Each earring has 5 labradorite droplets which delicately and gracefully dangle and move when worn.

With sterling silver ear posts and butterflies.
