I am particularly inspired by the colours and textures of lichens, mosses and fungi and the aromatic woodland environments in which they are found. During our holiday to the Lake District last Autumn, we could not have had a wetter week, but the bonus was the incredible display of these amazing organisms throughout the woodlands, up the hillsides, on the rocks and around the lakes.
 
I have always loved pattern. I hand mix each colour tone to make the lichen-like concentric designs and press my own textures into my polymer clay, enjoying the versatile scope this offers me for both. My earrings have a sterling silver ear post attached to the back, and the lower half of the earring dangles beneath. These are my own design and each pair is one of a kind, never to be repeated!
