    • Care instructions

      Enamel is glass fired onto to a metal surface, in this instance to copper. It is therefore fragile and these earrings should not be dropped on any hard surface or the enamel may chip or crack. 

      To clean the silver, please use a soft silver polishing cloth. Do not put the whole earring into silver cleaning solution as this may adversely affect the surface of the enamel making it cloudy or causing it to lose its shine.

    • My inspiration:

      I have always loved pattern since a child and am fascinated by nature's designs on autumnal leaves as they start to decay, and the shapes made by the fungi and moulds on dead wood or the seaside barnacles encrusted on rocks.

      This pair of enamelled earrings are inspired by all of the above, I never quite know how my designs will materialise, so I make elements inspired by each and then put them together in pleasing combinations!

      This pair are kiln fired with sea blue and clear enamel allowing some of the beauty of the copper to show through. The ear posts are sterling silver and hammered with a barnacle pattern. One of a kind, elegant and totally unique!

      Dimensions: 

      Sterling silver ear post: 10mm diameter

      Enamelled droplet: 38mm long

      Total length of drop earring: 48mm

      They are supplied with 2 x sterling silver butterflies.
