As we start to plan for the festive season, what better time is there to think about making some of your own gifts this year? We can offer you several exciting options at Rainbow Glass Studios where you can learn new crafts and artistic skills at the same time as making presents (and then impress your loved ones with gifts from your results!)
It's a triple win win win!
The first are our ever popular Fused Glass Christmas Decorations courses taking place on the following dates: So many different festive shapes to choose from: snowmen, holly, trees, snowflakes, reindeer, mistletoe, stars, puddings, you name it, and we'll work out how to make it with you!
Our second course is for jewellery fans, it's Fused Glass Jewellery for Beginners. You will make a collection of pieces, from a wide variety of decorative techniques we will demonstrate, to your own taste, colours and designs. No previous experience needed, and we give you a supply of findings and the best glue so you can complete your pieces once fired. after the course. Lots of sparkly options on this one!
Our third course has two options - Enamelling on copper for jewellery for beginners or Enamelling on copper bowls for intermediate students (who have previously attended one of our beginners enamelling courses)
Both are equally exciting and immediate! We will be working with hot kilns to "fire" our creations throughout the day. It's alchemy, it's creative and you can wear your jewellery home. The little bowls are beautiful too, (and useful to put your jewellery in!)
I'd be delighted to see you on any of my courses, I aim to build confidence (especially for those who don't believe they have a creative bone in their body, don't worry you can do this!) and no previous experience is needed for my beginners courses.
